I am currently tutoring rising first through sixth graders in math. My preference is to meet in-person at my house in Blacksburg, VA, but I am also open to meeting at the public library, or working virtually through Google Meet. I can tutor one-on-one or work with two students at the same time who have similar needs. I prefer to do 60 minute sessions. *Note: I mainly tutor in the summer; my sessions during the school year are extremely limited.
My hourly rate ranges from $50-$65 per student. The exact amount will depend on my travel distance, time needed for preparation, and tutoring format. The least expensive option will be in-person at my house.

I am also able to work with rising seventh graders who need reinforcement with sixth grade math skills. For students at higher levels, I would refer them to other qualified tutors.
I like to do a phone or Google Meet conference with parents before beginning to learn about your child and agree on goals. If you are willing, it is also helpful for me to make contact with your child's current or former math teacher to discuss their strengths and areas for growth.
